Sew-in weaves are a process where your natural hair is braided down into cornrows and a needle and thread are then used to sew down hair extensions onto the braids.
Sew-in can be Partial or Full head:
• Partial, it won’t cover the whole head,it is used to add lenght or volume so it is sufficient to add a few lines of extensions. It looks very natural and allows women to leave out hair for versatility.
• Full Head is when all of your natural hair is braided down completely and full weaves completely cover a wearer’s natural hair. It is recommended for those who want to change their look, going from curly to straight hair or to radically change the color and length of their hair.
A Full head Sew-in gives your natural hair a break from the damage of day-to-day styling (brushing, heating and products), so if you’re trying to grow out your hair a full sew-in is a great option.
While the partial weave allows you more versatility, they are high maintenance than a full weave you will take care of both the weave and your left outs.
When wearing a sew-in extensions, you want to be sure you’re still cleaning your scalp regularly and it’s important to take the time to make sure you get all of the weave and your natural hair completely dry.
It is recommended to remove the weave every 6 or 8 weeks.
We suggest wrapping or covering your hair in a silk or satin bonnet before you go to bed to reduce any friction in your sleep.
